Galaxy Express 999 Eternal Fantasy

Synopsis

The story begins one year after Adieu Galaxy Express 999. Under its new government, Earth was, on the surface, peaceful and prosperous. But the prosperity above ground rested on a merciless energy policy that robbed even the body heat of the people living underground.

The underground world, ten kilometers down, was frozen, and the people under its rule lived days with no future. Tetsuro, once welcomed as the hero who defeated Queen Promethium, was now held in an underground cell as a dangerous element opposed to the reforms, about to be executed.

One day, that familiar whistle rang in Tetsuro’s ears. Set on bringing peace back to Earth, Tetsuro boarded the 999 for the third time and flew off into space, bound for his final destination, Eternal in the Ultimate star system…!
