Fullmetal Alchemist

Synopsis

Longing so much for their mother, who died when they were small, Edward and his younger brother Alphonse commit alchemy’s greatest taboo: human transmutation, which brings the dead back to life. But the transmutation fails, and Edward loses his left leg, Alphonse his whole body.

At the cost of his own right arm, Edward barely manages to transmute his brother’s soul and bind it to a suit of armor, but the price was far too great.

Together with Alphonse, Edward sets out on a journey in search of the “Philosopher’s Stone”, which holds immense power, to take back everything they lost.

His right arm and left leg turned into steel prosthetic limbs, the “automail”, he is the one people call the “Fullmetal Alchemist”…
