NieA_7

Synopsis

The setting is a near future in which it has become normal for aliens to be swarming all over the place.

The aliens, who arrived in droves on a mothership, were no different from Earthlings, except that they can send and receive thoughts with the antenna that comes standard on their heads and that their ears are pointed. Showing an excellent ability to adapt, they blended into everyday life on Earth before anyone quite knew how, and the humans, just as vaguely, came to accept it. The alien bubble has burst too; that is about how things stand.

In those times, in an old working-class neighborhood, the Enohana district, stands the bathhouse Enohana-yu. The story shows the hopelessly lame everyday life of Mayuko, an earnest cram school student who lodges there, and NieA, a carefree alien…

“NieA_7” is that kind of shabby anime.
