Space Pirate Captain Herlock Outside Legend: The Endless Odyssey

Synopsis

After the war with the Mazone, Harlock left Earth with Miime and Tori-san and vanished from people’s sight. And the crew of the Arcadia, all but those two and the bird, parted from Harlock on Earth and went on to live lives of their own.

The story begins with the scene in which a small band of space pirates, formed on her own by Kei Yuki, one of the former crew, is captured by the Space Security Bureau.

K-12, a third-class colony planet far, far away from Earth, known as “the Dump Planet”. Tadashi Daiba, who lives on that planet, was leading a wasted life in a thoroughly controlled society, on a forsaken frontier.

One night, at home, Tadashi comes upon his father, murdered by someone, and four dead men who call themselves the Nuu. Just as one of the Nuu is about to kill Tadashi to silence him, it is Harlock who saves him, with a shot from his gravity saber.

“If you want to become a true man, board my ship.” Leaving those words behind, Harlock went away.
